"What can the radio offer me?"
Ever dreamed of spreading your rants late at night? Or spinning your favorite rock tunes while giving a shout out to your buddies? This is your lucky day! 101.5 KWVS is Malibu's only local radio station and it's entirely student run! With the potential to reach 15,000 plus listeners - this is a DJ's dream come true! You can even earn school credit*!

"What is the commitment?"
You can rock the microphone for 30min, 1hr, 2hrs - whatever you want! Do your show once a week, twice a week, or throw down your talent everyday - it's up to you! Make sure to sign up fast - as time slots are first come first serve!!!

"I'm ready! How do I sign up?"
A TV 26/KWVS introduction meeting takes place at the beginning of each semester where you can sign up in person with a KWVS Director. The next best way to reach a director is by email. Send a short email containing 3 time slots that would work for you. As mentioned before the time slots are "first come - first serve," but most of the time you are matched with your first choice. Also include the name of your show and your genre (talk, rock music, hiphop, etc).

"I don't know anything about the radio station controls - can I still DJ?"
Of course! We give all new DJ's a quick 15 minute training session on all the equipment. Believe it or not it's probably easier than finding a parking spot at the CCB @ 12pm.
